Hundred Islands National Park, A MUST VISIT PLACE!!!

Fantastic place to see!!! Lots of INSTAGRAMMABLE locations...

Hundred Islands are believed to be about two million years old. There are actually ancient corals that extend well inland, in an area previously comprising the seabed of an ancient sea.

The peculiar "mushroom-like" shape of some of the islands were caused by the eroding action of the ocean waves.

This group of islands is worth more than one visit but make sure its sunny day or summer season to enjoy multiple colours.

Before you go on tour, visit the tourism office, register and get you boat pass. You can choose the boat size depending on the number of passengers. Price starts at 1,400.00 pesos.

You have to prepare several fees... environmental fees, boat rentals, individual fees and cottage fees should you decide to stay in an island.

Ideally, you have to go there early morning para masulit ang day tour Island hopping. There's nice places to swim, lots of things to see. Make sure you bring your own food because it is limited and what is there is expensive.

You can explore several islands.... Governor Island, Quezon Island, Lopez Island, Marcos Island just to name a few. On these Islands you can rent cottages, water sports equipment and many more....

Newly developed boardwalk is a great tourist place.

If you are looking for water adventure like banana boat ride, kayaking, snorkeling, helmet diving or Zip line.... they have it.

The tour was quite tiring since we had to get out of the boat, swim for a while and admire the scenery of each island. But definitely, this is still one of those places you would wanna visit atleast once in your lifetime.

How to get there:
Lucap or Alaminos Wharf, the entrance to the National Park, is abot 240 kilometers from kilometer zero marker in Rizal Park in Manila or about 3.75 hours drive by private vehicle. By public transportation from Manila, the bus ride takes about 5 to 6 hours via NLEX & SCTEX and exit to Hacienda Luisita going to Camiling - Alaminos Road
