Kaon Na! Food and Travel Festival



"KAON NA" is a food and travel festival organized by the Department of Tourism showcasing authentic Philippine cuisine.

Attended by Tourism stakeholders, visitors and guest. Food is always one of the things to consider in the place tourists visit, and it has always been a part of one's travel itenirary.



"KAON NA" gathered selected Filipino chefs from prominent restaurants, and hotels of Cebu like chef June Fernandez of Cebu Parklane International Hotel, Marlou Almasco of Golden Prince Hotel, Richard Hao of University of San Jose Recoletos, Deofrey Vistal of Radisson Blue Cebu, Vincent Caracut of Marco Polo Plaza Cebu and Anthony Choa of Ralfe Gourmet highlighted the local dishes of Central Visayas.





Aside from local dishes being demonstrate, farms products including agri, arts and crafts - is being displayed, and also farm tourism destination.  



Exhibitors from regional farm tourism associations, DOT-accredited farm tourism operators, farm cooperatives, tour operators, academe, and partner agencies present goods and services to the public.




Presentations on Best Practices in Farm Tourism, New Agricultural Technologies, and its contribution to sustainable development were delivered by relevant practitioners and industry stakeholders.




KAON NA - derived from Cebuano word means "Lets Eat"
