SM Foundation Inc. Scholarship Program in Isabela

SM Foundation Inc., the corporate social responsibility arm of SM Group of Companies is now accepting applications for the SM College Scholarship Program for the year 2018-2019.

The program is open to all public high school graduates and private high school graduates with DepEd voucher after completing Grade 10 from public schools in the following covered areas: Luzon - NCR, Albay, Batangas, Benguet, Bulacan, Cagayan,  Camarines Sur, Cavite, Isabela, Laguna, Nueva Ecija, Palawan, Pampanga, Pangasinan, Quezon, Rizal, Tarlac, and Zambales; Visayas - Capiz, Cebu, Iloilo, Leyte, and  Negros Occidental; and in Mindanao - Agusan del  Norte, Davao del Sur, Misamis Oriental, South Cotabato, and  Zamboanga del Sur.

Students with a general weighted average of at least 88% by the second or third grading period are qualified to apply for the scholarship program. An applicant should also belong to a family with an annual household income of P150, 000 or less.

Applications will be coursed through an online system through the education page of the SM Foundation website, www.sm-foundation.org where a list of partner colleges and universities are available. Application period is until December 2017, SM Foundation will release a list of qualified applicants who will proceed to take the written examination and further screening.

Aside from the scholar’s tuition, SM Foundation will also provide allowances. SM is also encouraging its scholars to earn extra income by offering them jobs during summer vacation.

SM Foundation Scholars are not required to work for SM after graduation as payback for their education.
